A Message From The Founder/CEO

Hello Everyone:

I want to say THANK YOU and WELCOME to the BLACK IN TIME ENTERPRISES ONLINE RESOURCE CENTER FOR BLACK HISTORY AND CULTURE website. I sincerely hope you enjoy your visit and are inspired and empowered as you view these  pages.

As I begin each work day, I can look at the photographs  that hang above my desk and see generations of wisdom in the face of the enslaved African, the stern, watchful eyes of  Dr. Carter G. Woodson, Frederick Douglass' imposing dignity, that moment of connection  forged by a single handshake between Malcolm and Martin, the quiet, yet resolute defiance of Rosa Parks and Jesus with the elders (all of whom look like me), sitting at the table for the last supper.

These defining images (and others) occupy an almost spiritual atmosphere from which I draw inspiration and focus on a  daily basis. I'm compelled to make proud, my African and Black American ancestors. I'm infused with their spirit and humbled by the legacy of greatness they have bequeathed to me.

As Black Americans we stand upon the shoulders of men and women whose experience in this country was unlike that any other ethnic group. They were kidnapped from their homeland, enslaved, tortured, terrorized and murdered -- all in the name of White supremacy. Yet, the strength and power of the Black spirit endured and prevailed.

It is because of my profound admiration for OUR TRIUMPHS  and  GENUINE LOVE for OUR HISTORY and THE PEOPLE IT PRODUCED, I created  the BLACK IN TIME ENTERPRISES RESOURCE ONLINE CENTER --- adding the mantra: "Celebrating Who We Are By Honoring Who We Were."

I strongly believe that Black people have a responsibility and obligation to continue the legacy of greatness we've inherited. We do that by creating positive, unique stories within our own lives. I say everyday that In order for Black History To Live, We Must Continue To Breathe Life Into It --that's the message we need to give our children.

Please use this website as a source of information and inspiration.  It is my sincere hope that this will be a useful tool that  will help anyone interested in promoting and teaching Black History and Culture, more effectively. Encourage your family, friends and associates to visit, too. I've tried to create a virtual forum that will get you EXCITED ABOUT BLACK HISTORY and enable you to Channel That Excitement Into Positive Action That Will Enhance Your Life. In the words of Dr. Carter G. Woodson, "The mere imparting of information is not education. Above all things, the effort must result in making a man think and do for himself."

The BLACK IN TIME ENTERPRISES Story

BLACK IN TIME ENTERPRISES is an out-growth of what was formally THE GADDY MARKETING GROUP,  created in 1992.
With  the vision of a business that promoted Black History Year-Round, through  original products,  concepts and initiatives, company President, Hubert Gaddy, Jr.,  established BLACK IN TIME ENTERPRISES in 2005. The two other Gaddy brothers, Timothy and Anthony, serve as General Operations Manager and Chief Art Director, respectively.

As a 100% BLACK-OWNED and OPERATED, direct marketing company and online learning center, we're in a wonderfully unique position to impact the Black Community in a positive way.  We're  proud to serve that segment of the consumer population whose  buying habits impact the national economy in such a profound way -- Make no mistake, the BLACK CONSUMER and the BLACK DOLLAR are POWERFUL FORCES!!

Our goal is to create a sustained  excitement and enthusiasm for and about Black History that inspires positive, proactive action within the Community.

Hubert  a former journalist, 1985 Oustanding Young Men Of America award recipient and 1999 inductee into INTERNATIONAL WHO'S WHO  OF ENTREPRENEURS, serves as company President.  

Award-winning, multi-media artist, Anthony Gaddy serves as Chief Illustrator and Art Director.  Tim Gaddy, who brings  experience in both  Business Adminstration and as an artist,  holds the position of BLACK IN TIME ENTERPRISES General Operations Manager 

These three individuals, along with their networking partners, have  combined their creative talents, professionalism  and cultural awareness -- enabling BLACK IN TIME ENTERPRISES to function as a Black-Owned Business,  And Education Center -- offering original products and services that Celebrate Who We Are and Honor Those Upon Whose Shoulders We Stand.
